Biodegradation of Keratin-Rich Husbandry Waste as a Path to Sustainable Agriculture
نویسندگان
چکیده
Every year, the size of human population grows; with it, need for agricultural products increases. This leads to an increment in volume waste, including hard-to-degrade keratin-rich ones, such as feathers. Currently, most agro-industrial complex protein by-products are utilized by incineration, landfilling, and chemical hydrolysis. Such methods do not meet modern trends development a sustainable economy, negatively affecting environment humans, preventing reusing waste. An alternative is biodegradation, which consists application living organisms their enzymes recycle by-products. approach only sustainable, but also makes it possible obtain waste hydrolysis that demand manufacture fertilizers feed additives. brings agriculture closer circular economy recycling process more profitable. review article emphasizes significance keratinolytic microorganisms keratinases improvement green processing complex, necessary economic development.

Technology for Sustainable Agriculture from Waste
Sustainability in agriculture is the primary need of the country, especially for farmers in the society. Sustainable agriculture depends on, a. the quality and quantity of irrigational water used, b. Status of soil in the Land and c. the dimatic conditions of the environment. In most of the locations and for particularly in coastal regions such a ideal conditions could not be possible. متن کاملOrganic textile waste as a resource for sustainable agriculture in arid and semi-arid areas
New vegetation in barren areas offers possibilities for sequestering carbon in the soil. Arid and semi-arid areas (ASAs) are candidates for new vegetation. The possibility of agriculture in ASAs is reviewed, revealing the potential for cultivation by covering the surface with a layer of organic fibres. This layer collects more water from humidity in the air than does the uncovered mineral surfa...

The use of different agricultural or industrial wastes is an important component of sustainable agriculture in order to close nutrient cycles on a global, regional and local scale. Farmyard manure or slurry are established as fertilizers in agricultural or horticultural production and substitute mineral fertilizers. Due to the lower nutrient use efficiency compared with mineral fertilizers, esp...

The UK waste strategy is based upon the central concept of the hierarchy of preferable options for the treatment and disposal of waste. Minimisation is placed at the top of the hierarchy and the Government seeks to encourage its uptake by industry and commerce as well as householders. It has been accepted that previous waste management policy and practice have not delivered the hoped for moveme...
